24 hours of intensity, focus, and pure passion – the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours once again proved why it’s one of the toughest and most iconic challenges in motorsport. And we’re proud to bring home another strong result: 2nd place in the SP3T class!
Following our class win in 2024 and a second-place finish the year before, this marks our third consecutive podium in one of the most fiercely contested categories. For us as a team, it’s a clear sign of progress – and a reward for months of preparation, relentless work, and true racing spirit.
A race full of challenges, character, and comeback moments
We got off to a strong start – until a power outage on Saturday afternoon led to a race interruption. Racing resumed at 7:45 p.m., and from then on, it was all about maximum focus. Through the shortest night of the year, our drivers steadily fought their way through the field, gaining over 60 positions in the overall standings.
Behind the wheel of our MINI John Cooper Works PRO were four standout drivers:
– Samantha Tan (CAN) and Toby Goodman (GBR) both made their Nürburgring 24h debut – and immediately climbed the podium.
– Sebastian Sauerbrei (GER) contributed his deep experience and knowledge of the Nordschleife.
– Markus Fischer (AUT), just like last year, was the fastest driver in our lineup. With a lap time of 10:02 minutes, he even beat his own record from 2024.
In total, we completed 111 laps and covered over 2,700 kilometers – an impressive performance from our car, which competes in the SP3T class and is closely based on the MINI John Cooper Works production model.
Engineering meets style
Another highlight this year was our vehicle design. Created in collaboration with Deus Ex Machina, the livery turned heads even before the race began. Our MINI wasn’t just fast – it was a true standout in the paddock.
Record-breaking crowd and a real racing atmosphere
With around 280,000 spectators on site, the Nürburgring 24 Hours set a new attendance record in 2025. The atmosphere around the track was electric – from the start line into the depths of the night. It’s a race we won’t soon forget.
Respect to our competitors
Congratulations to the ROWE Racing team on their overall win with the BMW M4 GT3 Evo and to BMW M2 Racing for taking the SP3T class victory. Tough competition, strong performances – it only fuels our motivation.
We’re proud of what we achieved this race weekend – and fully motivated for what lies ahead.
