The MINI Fan & Track Day, the top event for all MINI enthusiasts in Belgium, is back after a two-year break. This year, the long-awaited MINI Party will take place on Sunday 22 May 2022 in Zolder.
Bulldog Racing will be there at the invitation of MINI BeLux, presenting the MINI John Cooper Works for the 24h race at the Nürburgring.
The first John Cooper Works Track Day in Belgium took place in Mettet in 2016. In 2017, this event, renamed MINI Fan Day, already attracted 1,700 fans. In 2019, the MINI Fan Day took place at the Zolder racetrack for the first time and inspired 5,000 fans.
It’s not just fans of powerful engines and sensations who get their money’s worth. The MINI Fan & Track Day 2022 offers many fun activities for young and old. For example, join a professional driver in a MINI John Cooper Works for a real drive on the race track or take part in a virtual MINI Challenge on our racing simulators. Kids will have lots of fun on the children’s track. There is also a unique MINI Electric experience on the programme, a super experience for those who want to experience electric driving for themselves. Charlie Cooper, the grandson of the legendary John Cooper will be there to present his electric Cooper Bikes.
The MINI John Cooper Works of Bulldog Racing with the starting number #112 will be driven by Uwe Krumscheid (GER), Jens Dralle (GER) and Danny Brink (GER) as well as Markus Fischer (AUT) at the 24-hour race. The endurance classic on the Nordschleife will take place from 28 to 29 May 2022. The racing car built in Nürburg will compete in the SP3T class.
