In addition to the modifications made for last year&#8217;s race, the following modifications have been made to the standard MINI John Cooper Works for racing in the SP3T class regulations:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supersprint exhaust system with racing catalytic converter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eventuri carbon intake system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Further weight reduction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>17 inch Motec Ultralight rims with Michelin tires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of AP Racing brake components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Team line-up<\/span><\/b><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p>Like last year, the MINI John Cooper Works #112 of Bulldog Racing will be driven by Uwe Krumscheid (GER), Danny Brink (GER) and Markus Fischer (AUT). A new addition is Marco Zabel (GER), who got to test the MINI John Cooper Works at the 2nd round of the Rundstrecken-Challenge N\u00fcrburgring 2023. <\/p>\n\n<p>In total, this driver team has completed over 715,000 kilometers on the Nordschleife and has started over 35 times in the 24-hour race at the N\u00fcrburgring.<\/p>\n\n<p>The endurance classic on the Nordschleife will take place from May 20 to 21, 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><div><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">MINI in motorsport<\/span><\/b><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p>Pat Moss made motorsport history in 1962, scoring the first international rally win for MINI at the Tulip Rally. Her victory kicked off the Classic Mini&#8217;s unique success story in rallying, with 3 overall Monte Carlo Rally wins in 1964 (Paddy Hopkirk), 1965 (Timo M\u00e4kinen) and 1967 (Rauno Aaltonen).<\/p>\n\n<p>Six overall Dakar Rally victories in 2012 (Leonid Novitskiy), 2013 (St\u00e9phane Peterhansel), 2014 (Nani Roma), 2015 (Nasser Al-Attiyah), 2020 (Carlos Sainz Sr.) and 2021 (St\u00e9phane Peterhansel) added to this winning streak.<\/p>\n\n<p>As a tribute to the racing tradition of the MINI brand, the MINI John Cooper Works race car &#8220;Made in N\u00fcrburg&#8221; is designed in the classic color scheme of the 1960s race cars in red \/ white.<\/p>\n\n<p>At this year&#8217;s 24-hour race at the N\u00fcrburgring, an all-new MINI John Cooper Works Edition with 6-speed manual transmission will be the new addition to Bulldog Racing&#8217;s line-up in the VT2-FWD class with starting number #126.
